"This is the right place for our activities to carry on the search for Truth and develop Fearlessness- for on one side, are the iron bolts of the foreigners, and on the other, thunderbolts of Mother Nature"- This is how Gandhiji described the site of Sabarmati Ashram when he first visited the place for assessing if it was suitable for carrying out his work. The Ashram, has been now turned into a museum with an objective to connect the people around the globe and inspire them with the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi, so that together people may shape a more civilized world order based on truth and nonviolence.
As an ardent Gandhi patron, it was of an utmost priority for my scholastic work to visit this sanctuary which acted as a main front for Gandhi’s movements.
